Fix for GeneVectorIndividual - Setter for GenomeLength - Filling "genome" should have been filling "newGenome" when the new length is greater than the old length.

Bug Report filed with ECJ team.

NOTE: If you encounter initial build errors, simply build again. The errors are probably thrown because Visual Studio Multi-Core optimization is enabled.

Yes this says "alpha". But in reality, this initial drop is quite stable already after a very thorough conversion to C# .NET 4.0 from Java.

If you are not familiar with Sean Luke's venerable ECJ (Evolutionary Computation in Java), then you should first go take a look at the original site so you know what you are getting yourself into:

This package is suitable for exploration and experimentation. It runs just fine on the samples that were also converted over from ECJ. And everything that is in the original software is in this fork also. However, you may want to check back in the future to grab a copy that has been more thoroughly "supercharged" with some of the best features unique to the platform.

Your bug reports and comments will be greatly appreciated.

Industrial-Strength Evolutionary Computation for .NET 4.0 based on Sean Luke's ECJ Project at GMU (v20).
ECJ is an 800 lb. Gorilla in the realm of Evolutionary Computation and Stochastic Optimization.
This is an independent conversion of that entire package, including over 500 unit tests added during the conversion.
There will eventually need to be several thousands of tests before this reaches full release.
But most of the functionality is up and running. The goal is "algorithmic and functional equivalence" with ECJ.
Consider the Java version to be the Canonical reference if you need a better understanding of how it works.
But please do not pester Sean or his team members. They cannot and will not be able to support this fork in any way.
I will do my best to keep this up to date with new releases of ECJ, as time permits. But you are going to have to roll up your sleeves to get with this. And don't forget to look yourself in the mirror and ask "Do I Really Need This?"

Most of the basics work just fine. But, as I say, there is much test coverage still lacking. Also, the solution will benefit from a little reorganization after the dust settles a bit. It'll get there.

Although the basics seem to be working fine, I know a few specific advanced features, such as IslandExchange, Coevolution, and Master/Slave stuff (some of the VERY BEST parts, in other words), just haven't gotten proper attention yet. For all I know they might be working, but.... YOU'VE BEEN DULY WARNED!!!
